Project Manager / Senior Structural Engineer ( Bridge )

STV, Inc. currently has an opening in our Douglassville, PA office for a Project Manager/Senior Bridge Engineer in our Transportation and Infrastructure division.  Successful candidate will be a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of bridge engineering industry practices and capable of solving a wide range of bridge engineering design, analysis and inspection challenges.  The individual shall have demonstrated progressively sophisticated experience applying bridge engineering methods and technologies for a wide range of projects.  The individual will also have experience utilizing independent judgment managing technical staff with day-to-day project work, producing technical deliverables for bridges and other structures associated with transportation engineering projects.  Experience with alternative delivery methods such as design/build and accelerated bridge construction is also desirable.   Primary responsibilities include leading bridge engineering design, analysis and inspection teams as well as executing technical decisions to achieve successful high-quality project delivery for complex and non-complex highway bridge replacements, rehabilitations and preservations.  Secondary responsibilities will be to support the Pittsburgh business manager to pursue new work with marketing and proposal development.   Required Skills: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (MS Degree is a plus) and a minimum of 12 years of experience.  Pennsylvania Professional Engineering License and experience with bridge engineering design and analysis software, Microstation and standard Microsoft Office Suite of products are required.  Certified Bridge Safety Inspection (CBSI) Certification, PennDOT experience and project management training are preferred.  Good oral and written communication skills are essential.+ Tracking Code 4010-872

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
