Finance Manager

Job Description We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Douglassville, PA office for a Finance Manager.   Responsible for managing the day-to-day finance and accounting functions for STV's Douglassville based project accountants. Reports to: Finance Director   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage a team of financial professionals, with responsibility to train, develop and elevate the skills of the team members. Create a climate that fosters individual professional development and establish structure and processes to produce operational excellence Management and ownership of the divisional budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analysis, and risk management Hands-on management of the billing process, including development of process improvements and controls to maximize efficiencies Ensure thorough monthly, quarterly and year end close of the division In-depth participation and review of monthly project review meetings Serve as the key financial leader for the division by partnering with divisional executives and providing responses to various inquiries from management for financial results, special reporting requests, etc. Assist with improving various policies, procedures, and processes surrounding the month end close process, including revenue recognition, billing, and collections Required Experience Bachelor and/or Master's Degree in accounting or finance with 7+ years of experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting position Ability to supervise, delegate, and train financial staff Strong analytical skills and Microsoft excel skills required Strong time management, organizational, and conflict resolution skills Prior supervisory experience required Experience in the A/E/C industry preferred Experience with BST preferred Project Controls Experience Preferred   STV is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities. 3707-872

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
