Process Improvement Engineer
Seeking a Jr.
Level Process Improvement Engineer out of a manufacturing environment to support the quality process as it relates to all aspects of manufacturing.
Job Duties:
Help oversee and improve the supplier quality operations by streamlining vendor selection Help with improve manufacturing processes as they relate to quality operations Eliminate materials that are not efficient for the quality process and replace them with better materials Inspect and approve incoming materials Conduct quality audits and generate reports Improve the manufacturing quality process inspection
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (will consider multiple disciplines of engineering as long the candidate has manufacturing experience) 3 or more years experience in Quality Engineer in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on process improvement as it relates to the quality department Some leadership and supervisory experience a plus Experience working with multiple departments of a manufacturer Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing experience Strong communication skills This is a Jr.
to mid-level position.
